I had the privilege to meet and work for a very dear couple who decided that a kitchen update was long overdue.  We tackled a bedroom and bath remodel first, then rolled up our sleeves to take on this kitchen.  They have a traditional home and tastes so we made all our choices based on those preferences. Their outstanding pottery collection inspired me to use turquoise beadboard in the backs of their glass-fronted cabinets.   This lovely kitchen and living space prove that traditional doesn't have to mean boring.
