Weekend retreat at a mountain lake
Who wouldn't enjoy a weekend on a floating boathouse cottage on a gorgeous secluded mountain lake? My clients called and told me about their boathouse and the dreams they had of weekends with their teenage daughters at the lake. They spent many years enjoying the boathouse, but it was time for a redo when structural issues and mildew took over. When I first saw the property, the walls were stripped down to the bare studs. We began to rebuild the cottage room by room and created a playful retreat for the family to enjoy for years to come.
